Clarion wanted to update the user interface in their marine audio head units. The new UI had to be adaptable to their existing head unit and their upcoming one with smaller screen. (Old UI shown)
       
     
 The changes to the user interface included changing the graphic elements to improve contrast and visibility. Eliminating elements that were not essential to optimize the use of screen space. Updated graphics and fonts. Creation of new set of icons.

 In the new UI, an analog graphical version of the clock was added to suit the user's preference.  The radio interface was reduced to only one version as two were redundant in the old version.
